The Rescue Story Page

In November of 1997, I moved to an apartment building that allowed cats. I was 33 and hadn't had a cat in 13 years. After dropping off the rental truck, I hopped in my car and drove straight to the local animal shelter. 'Caffrey moved in with me the same evening. Heinlein came about a week later.

Although I've seen many beautiful and friendly pedigreed cats, I have a soft spot in my heart for rescues. Here are my cats' stories followed by some stories from people I've met online.
